Customer Assistant @ Tesco
2022 — present
I began working at Tesco on a temporary contract, but due to my strong performance and two 5-star customer reviews, I was offered a permanent position by the store manager – who used the remainder of her budget to retain me. I worked across several branches, including Pensby, Myrtle Street and the newly opened Metquarter Express, balancing a range of tasks while maintaining high standards and excellent customer service. I completed Silver Food Safety training with a score of 100%, which led to a regular baking shift each week, and I was invited to begin training in shift supervisor responsibilities such as reductions, date scanning and till approvals. Throughout my time at Tesco, I was recognised for my reliability, adaptability and teamwork as well as for my fundraising efforts to Ukraine disaster relief, which led to my rehire in October 2024 after a brief period at B&M.

President of the Business Society @ Liverpool Hope University Students' Union
2023 — 2024
As President of the Liverpool Hope University Business Society during the second year of my university studies, I led the coordination of all society activities, events and operations while serving as the main point of contact with the student union. I organised and chaired meetings, managed communication with members, maintained accurate records and oversaw the work of other elected committee members. I was also responsible for minute-taking, financial handling for events and ensuring compliance with student union policies. In addition, I supported student wellbeing by signposting members to appropriate services and consistently upheld the society's inclusive, safe and professional standards.

Receptionist & Ward Delivery @ the NHS
2021
At Arrowe Park Hospital, I supported both the Main Entrance and Patient Experience Hub teams by welcoming patients and visitors, delivering personal belongings to wards on behalf of families and offering reassurance and assistance during COVID-19 restricted visiting periods. I ensured hygiene standards were upheld by maintaining stock of hand sanitiser and surgical masks, directing usage on entry. I regularly liaised with hospital porters and ward sisters to help resolve visitor queries, arrange visiting passes in exceptional cases. My role required compassion, clear communication and calmness under pressure.

Social Media & Branding Manager @ Live & Let Clean
2024
I was scouted by a former colleague to develop the social media presence and brand identity for her new cleaning business, drawing on my business and marketing knowledge from university. I created the brand name "Live & Let Clean," a creative pun reflecting the company's focus on end of tenancy ("end of let") cleans, and designed a cohesive brand identity including a logo and message. I also set up the Facebook business page, produced engaging visual content such as graphics and videos, and interacted with followers to build customer trust and community. Once the foundation was in place, I handed over control to the business owner to continue independently.

Games Host & Administrative Assistant @ Escape Live
2021 — 2022
At Escape Live, I worked as a Games Host responsible for managing customer groups throughout their entire experience, running escape room sessions, monitoring progress via CCTV and providing assistance as needed. The role demanded strong communication, energy, organisation, multitasking and attentiveness, particularly when resetting rooms and supporting multiple groups. I became proficient with the COGs system and basic security camera operations. Due to my reliability and leadership skills, I was frequently selected by the venue manager to act as provisional team leader: overseeing game operations, allocating staff to bookings, managing walk-ins and addressing customer or staff issues collaboratively. In addition, I carried out administrative duties such as scheduling customer bookings, creating staff rotas, answering phone calls and securing the premises at closing time.
Sales Assistant @ Superdry (2Ă—)
2021 — 2022 and 2022 — 2023
I held temporary customer assistant positions at Superdry during the busy Christmas and New Year periods of 2021/22 and 2022/23, having been invited back for a second time due to my strong performance. I worked across various sections of the store, assisting customers with product enquiries, locating specific items and sizes, and offering tailored style recommendations. I was also positioned at the front of store to welcome customers, providing a friendly first impression. Throughout my role, I maintained high store standards by refolding clothing displays and organising rails with care and attention to detail, all while balancing customer service responsibilities efficiently.
