I worked as a Customer Assistant at Tesco Express across multiple stores from January 2022 to September 2024, then briefly left for B&M, before being welcomed back in October 2024 due to my strong work ethic and proven reliability. Timeline at Tesco

  • January 2022 – started at Pensby Tesco Express
  • September 2022 – transferred to Myrtle Street Tesco Express (Liverpool, nearer university halls) on a student contract
  • University holidays (2022–2023) – returned to Pensby Express during term breaks
  • 2nd year in university – Remained at Pensby Express, commuting from Liverpool for shifts
  • 3rd year in university (2024) – offered a permanent contract at Metquarter Tesco Express to support new store opening
  • September 2024 – left for an offer of employment at the B&M distribution centre
  • October 2024 – forced to leave B&M due to the physically-demanding work and absence of team communication, quickly taken back by Tesco due to proven reliability and valuable contributions
